Assignments

An Assignment is a private hand-in box for learners to submit their work. Once an assignment is created, each learner will have a hand-in box. Media assigned to assignment hand-in boxes is only visible to Instructors/TAs and the learner of the submission.

Create an Assignment

  1. Click Assignments from the left hand menu
  2. Include an Assignment Name for your assignment
  3. Click Create Assignment

Next, you will need to enable the setting to allow students to upload videos.

  1. Click on Manage from the left hand menu.
  2. Expand the setting called Course Settings
  3. Toggle on the setting “Enable assignment upload”
  4. A message will pop up to confirm the setting is turned on.

View Assignment Uploads

To view media that students submitted to the Assignment hand-in box:

  1. Click on Watch & Discuss from the left hand menu
  2. Click on the Playlists – Assignments – Groups drop-down from the top menu
  3. Select the assignment that you want to access
  4. Click on the Media dropdown to see the list of media in the assignment hand-in box.
